In January 1987 Cardinal Ratzinger (future Pope) who was head of the Congregation for the Preservation of the Faith, declared homosexuality "a moral intrinsic evil". And then he announced the Pope would visit San Francisco (the Gay capitol of the world). This exorcism was The Sisters' answer to such homophobia. 100 members of the press covered the exorcism. The local live TV coverage cut away from our exorcism to the Pope landing at the Golden Gate Bridge in a helicopter. A media JACKPOT!
