Another session in considerthegospel.org. We examine the textual reliability of the Old Testament to see what data and evidence is at hand to show whether or not the text of the Old Testament has changed, corrupted or modified over time. The basic question we are asking is whether the Old Testament we read today is the same as what was written down so long ago by the original authors. The impact and significance of the Dead Sea Scrolls are highlighted in addressing this question. We conclude that the manuscript evidence for the Old Testament is very substantive in the witness of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
