Dr. Setti earned her B.A. in human development and social relations at Earlham College in Richmond, IN. She completed her M.D. at the School of Medicine, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and then attended Harvard University, where she earned her M.S. in international public health. Dr. Setti completed her family medicine internship and fellowship at Ventura County Medical Center in California, and in 2003, served as chief resident there. Her medical interests for patients of all ages include patient wellness and illness prevention, complementary medicine, immigrant care and innovative approaches to health care access. Lara is committed to creating an environment of cultural competency within her practice.
