Music Video Hill Wedding Reception

This was my first wedding video shoot in 2008. I was asked with VERY short notice and was not given the opportunity to see rehearsals or anything. I shot it with 2 cameras (1 pro-sumer DV and one pro), no off camera audio, and no stabilization equipment (Steady cam, etc...), No HD, no lighting... Alot was lost in compression as well.

This was complete run and gun with no clue as to what was going to happen or when... I was particularly caught of guard when the bride's father decided to do a song with her grandfather during the reception. As if the wandering microphone situation isn't bad enough! I had to hustle to get in position this great opportunity.

Overall, considering it was my first wedding and what I had to work with... they were very pleased.

Every Wedding "Cinematographer" will show you their best work... Here is my worst... for now. I have taken a quantum leap in my equipment on every level!
