Dutch Invertuals present 'Untouchables' during
the Dutch Design Week Eindhoven 22t/m30 October 2011.

With this exhibition the Dutch Invertuals present their responses to the prevailing spirit of insecurity of our times and the downside of freedom.

Dutch Invertuals is a collective of individual designers who are always in search of the limits of their
profession. They present pieces that reflect their
contemporary viewpoints in images, objects, materials, insights and stories.

“We barely realise that freedom goes hand in hand with vulnerability. Almost unnoticed we shape a world around us without danger, a safe zone. Nevertheless things happen to us we can’t control.”

By conducting research and experiments the Invertuals
has transposed the theme of vulnerability onto
contemporary designs. Balance, delicacy, curiosity
and transience have formed their inspiration.

‘UNTOUCHABLES’ celebrates vulnerability.
