This was a project I did because I wanted to learn FumeFX and Thinking Particles.
It was shot on a tripod with 3x 10sec clips that was stiched together in comp.
I then cameramatched the image so I wouldn't have to track the scene and after that it was pretty straight forward setting up a scene, lighting and setting up a bunch of rules for the particle system.
The tree's were created in 3D and was then later on rendered out and projected onto 2D Cards in 3Ds max. They where then brought into TP and distributed over specific areas and last but not least, the trees where fractured and then brought into a dynamic rulebased set.
