Trentside is set in Nottingham in the 1990’s with the skateboarding scene as its backdrop and blends together elements of Drama, Psychological Horror and Thriller. The film is about ‘Sterling’, a troubled teenager with mental health issues who begins to have hallucinations after discovering a disturbing Super 8 film reel. After watching the film his world starts to fall apart as he becomes unable to differentiate between reality and hallucination.
Trentside is Director Charlie Delaney’s debut short fiction film. So far, the film has been screened at Film Festivals including Cardiff International Film Festival and Urban Film Festival in Miami, as well as public screenings at local venues in Nottingham such as Broadway Cinema and Roughtrade. And now finally the film is available to stream on Vimeo.
