Shot in March of 2007 and completed in Fall of 2008, "Sittin' on the Grass" tells the story of two young and socially inept people who gravitate toward one another's strange differences. Each penetrates into the other's world, forever altering their realities of what they believe to be love and loneliness.
The decision to rotoscope over the action came much later, well into the editing process, as the uncomfortable, and often unforgiving, content of the subject matter within the piece needed to be displaced in such a way that allowed for more surrealism.
The movie was made as a collaboration between inViVince Productions and Jensen Entartainment.
I hope this video doesn't get kicked off...
