An Ident I recently directed and produced for The E4 channel on British tv.
The brief was very open, so it was a lot of fun to create.
Visuals wise it was a 2 man team comprising of the actor Dawson James and myself, making the costume / props and using mostly his camera equipment on the shoot.
Then me doing the CGI and compositing etc, roping Dawson in for the odd bit of roto work (much to his regret for agreeing to it before he knew what it entailed)
I built a simple Mocap system for it, as seen here vimeo.com/286773479
This is a breakdown showing the original plates compared to the final composite
Incidentally Dawson also played 'Greg Mutt' in my Avatar Review from the olden days.
Many thanks go to Ross Tones of Throwing Snow who kindly did the great music for the project.
