Fifteen-year-old Emma Schick has Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency, otherwise known as PFFD. She has no thigh on her left leg, but has never thought herself different or disabled compared to everyone else.
Currently in the Singapore Sports School and the only disabled athlete there, Emma holds the Asian record for the 50m breast stroke for disabled competitors.
But competitive swimming isn't Emma's only passion. She also trains five times a week on her horse at the Bukit Timah Saddle Club, and is about join her first tournament as an equestrian.
Through The Lens talks to Emma on her journey as a disabled competitive athlete, on the connection with her horse, and on where she gets the drive to excel.
