Patris was a boat hold by King of Greece Ottone. It was the first steam boat to reach the island of Kea during XIX Century.
It sunk during a foggy day just 500m off the line coast. I explored this wreck during a windy day on Kea, no boats were allowed to exit the harbour. We matched GPS points and we reach the shoal by dpv using compass navigation underwater. Fifty mins and fifty meters of pure fun. This dive was made during HMHS Britannic Expedition 2018.
