I came across an old cemetery that had so much character and wanted to try to capture some of it.

This is a pretty even mix of footage from my unhacked GH2 using a 24mm 2.8 FD lens with a variND filter and the 14-140 kit lens AND the Sony HX9V point and shoot. A couple of shots were with a cheap tripod and everything else was handheld. Super sunny, so it was tough trying to use the LCD screens.

I wanted to see how well the two would mix and I'm pretty pleased with how they cut together. Very little grading, just some desaturation, bumped the blacks a little and added a slight vignette.

It's humbling when I stop to think of all the lives that have been lived in just that one cemetery and all the stories and history that they had. I spent a couple of hours there and it felt like minutes...
