Salto exists of two local TV channels serving the greater Amsterdam area. They allow television makers from all standards, ages and cultures, to broadcast on their program to anyone willing to watch. This results into a interesting variety of TV shows with a few but loyal viewers.
There existing print identity was solid, but was visually just not compatible with the demands of today's broadcasting standards.
Calango took elements of the existing identity and translated it into a new design. A decent amount of math, known as the golden ratio, was aplied to the pantagon shaped logo, to create a kaleidoscopic framework for moving images.
These moving images can change with every season or major event in Amsterdam, keeping it fresh and up to date at all times.
