Quartet was formed out of Urban Chamber - Beyond, a new work by Outer Urban Projects that was presented in the 2013 Melbourne International Arts Festival and held at the Melbourne Recital Centre. They perform in various styles and genres including hip hop, classical, pop and contemporary, for various clients and events in venues including: Melbourne Town Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne, Darebin Arts & Entertainment Centre, Federation Square and the State Library. Their latest performance in an OUP Production was part of a 24–piece orchestra in a hip hop concerto in Grand Divisions: A Moved Urban Cantata presented as part of the 2015 Melbourne Festival. The String Quartet Led by Natasha Hanna an accomplished violinist, supported by an array of musicians including; Josef Hanna, Eugenie Lyons and Joe Kelly.
Liberian Boy is an intimate evening of music introducing a new talent, nineteen-year-old singer songwriter songwriter Melody Napoleon Gbiadiah and vocal duo, sisters Tangata Paea and Fakaoho Tupou.
Melody will share his songs about justice, the street and soul music and the Tupou sisters will impress with their vocals and soaring harmonies. Joining them are Milad Norouzi (Vocals) and Melbourne music stalwarts Natasha Hanna (Violin), Dan Witton (Double Bass, Vocals) and Mark Grunden (Percussion).
