In A4BLUE (RWTH use case) we are developing an autonomous tool trolley to support workers which already reacts to human gestures and follows the worker on command in a test environment. In this video RWTH is testing the first functions of the reconfigured and updated tool trolley hardware. The tool trolley is sent to a specific position via smartphone application. By using omnidirectional Mecanum wheels, the tool trolley can move sideways or turn on the spot. This significantly improves the usability for the worker.
