In 2018, 100cameras Flagship Cartagena launched in partnership with100cameras partnered with the Colombian Pediatrics Society to work alongside a local school in Marlinda to teach 25 kids how to process and tell their stories. All year, these incredible kids must function in classrooms with 90+ degrees of captured heat which directly affects their ability to focus, learn, and thrive in their education. Many have learning difficulties, and trouble reading or writing at their level.
Within just a few months, the students' photo sales had raised enough money to fund Air Conditioning for their entire school, creating a healthier environment for learning for everyone. Watch and see their pride and excitement when witnessing their much-needed contribution to their community for the first time. Learn more at https://www.100cameras.org/flagship-cartagena.
