The DHL logistics center in Greven is one of the largest high-performance fulfillment centers in Germany. DHL is a long-standing partner of HSE24, an omnichannel trader specializing in teleshopping and retail via phone and Internet.
The central dispatch warehouse for all its product lines is operational six days a week for 16 hours at a time. At six picking stations, high-volume single orders and mixed orders from high- and low-volume goods are processed. Pre-commissioned items are transferred to the packing zone via a container transportation route. A dynamic buffer zone for up to 400 containers is positioned upstream of these picking stations, realized with the Modular Conveyor Platform form Interroll.
