The South Carolina Breakfast Club was in action at Lee County Airport in Bishopville on November 11, 2018.
The 100th Anniversary of the WWI Armistice saw 29 airplanes fly in to Bishopville for breakfast.
EAA 242, once again, served their always tasty breakfast (their 4th for us this year). That was an early morning long haul and we do appreciate it!
Thank you to George Roberts and the folks at Bishopville for hosting us in one of their brand new (and toasty warm) hangars.
While Stoney and I decided to stick around the airport after our meeting to see many of us off, we do know some of us took advantage of transportation to the Cotton Museum/Veterans Memorial so that they could honor those who fought and fell during that conflict. Our history... Our heroes...
