"Which in this land is fairest of all?" Short test of the new Kodak Ektachrome 100D 7294 Super 8 film with seven Super 8 cameras. October 2018. No image stabilization and no color correction. Only the Eumig Mini footage turned out too bright. For this Vimeo upload, it was darkened digitally in Final Cut Pro X to demonstrate the new Ektachrome’s superb latitude. For me, the biggest surprise was the Minolta, with its beautifully sharp lens.
Note: The Agfa Movexoom was used in manual exposure mode with an external Gossen lightmeter. The Minolta can easily adjusted for ASA100 filming. Just unscrew the front cover and you find a intervalometre in the shape of a clock. By moving it, you can set the ASA speed.
