Short narrative fantasy about leaving the rat race behind, seeking the eternal and beauty in things,
also a look into fatherhood and youth and also
takes a look into the interconnectivity of things.
The term South of Tomorrow explores a place
one can go to escape the mundane, the routine
the ordinary and look at things very differently.
Inspired by my moving to mexico to live and escaping
the routine of the ordinary work life in the U.S. and what
I discovered internally and externally, seeing everything
from a very different perspective. I was looking for freedom, getting out of the box, being creative, and
seeking a return to innocence, beauty and being connected to people and places and nature and the eternal. I wanted to make my first short film about
leaving the known behind as well and seeing things anew.
