Meet Hannah. Hannah is a typical teenager who loves to cheer, dance and shop. And like most teenagers, she’s excited to celebrate her upcoming sixteenth birthday!
Since her diagnosis, Hannah has faced lymphoblastic leukemia with all her strength, thanks to the help of generous blood and platelet donors. Now she is helping others to find their strength too. This teenage Leukemia Fighter selflessly donates time to her community by sponsoring blood drives to help other patients in need. Having received more than 50 transfusions in the past two years, blood and platelet donations have been critical to her cancer treatment.
This holiday season, Hannah is reminding us all that medical conditions and emergencies that require blood don’t stop for a winter break. Your blood donation is needed now to ensure patients like Hannah receive treatment needed at a moment’s notice.
