Sunday, September 11, 2011 marked the ten year anniversary of the horrific day that changed both America and the Fire Service forever. The KC Stair Climb specifically honored the 343 firefighters who never came home that day. Each participant (343) climbed in honor of a fallen firefighter, representing them by climbing 110 stories, the same height as the World Trade Center Towers.
