In June 2011 I was fortunate to film (along with artist John Bradshaw) the installation of Alison McDonald's massive plastic artwork Flow on behalf of the artist (alisonmcdonald.com.au/) and Umbrella Studio contemporary arts (umbrella.org.au).
The resulting short film shows the piece being hung and cable-tied together on the side of the Umbrella building in Townsville, QLD.
The music is from the amazing Sydney-based Instrumental Rock band Grün who were kind enough to let me use their epic track Among the Bad Apes. I bought their album when it came out and still listen to it every week. Make sure to check them out! grun.com.au/

Time-lapse was done with a Canon Legria
Close-up's with a Canon 7D using a 75-300mm lens.
Wide-angle was shot using a camcorder with a lens attachment (sorry, this was John's, don't know the technical details on it!)
