Like many cities, NY is tackling climate change and our energy needs head-on. We know how much supply we need to cool our hot summers, warm our wintry winters, and to be prepared for the surprises nature throws at us. We can generate most–if not all–of the power we need from renewable sources right here in NY state. We can pay less for it than we did for fossil fuels. And we can bring it into NYC without creating an eye-sore of towers across our beautiful state.
