Shadows in View? A short walk with the curator Tim Otto Roth through the exhibition with 30 early modern engravings at the Wallraf-Richartz-Museums & Fondation Corboud in Cologne tracking down a very fugitive phenomenon, that is hard to depict: the shadow. The visitors are invited on a journey of discovery through (art) history, beginning in the early modern era with works for instance by masters as Dürer, Rembrandt, Saenredam and de Lairesse.
The show in the museum's graphic collection did run from 28 September 2018 - 13 January 2019. The show is accompanied by a catalogue (Germany/English) with texts by Thomas Ketelsen and Tim Otto Roth: cedon.de/Schatten-im-Blick.-Der-ungewisse-Blick-Band-13?c=88
