The term "maneries" is used by philosopher Giorgio Agamben in his book, The Coming Community and refers to a type of (water) Spring.
With MANERIES, Colombian director Luis Garay invites us to an experience examining perception of time and form in which the body is the linguistic material. The performer, Florencia Vecino, takes her skills to the limit which situates the audience somewhere between tribal ritual and performance.

Luis Garay´s works attempts to find new formats in which science theories may co exist with poetry and performance. The structure of the work, is the work, while the elements on stake, deal with materia and its expressivity.
He nowadays colaborates with various artists such as sound artist Luciano Azigotti (ww.zztt.org), and Brazilian Alejandro Ahmed (cena11.com.br).
