Three projects are shown in this 3 minute clip. The first two are titled 'Triumphal Arch.' The first is a piece shown in a group show, Journey to the Center of Uranus, at CANADA Gallery, NYC, summer 2008. This is a print and drawing installation in a corner (approx. 20'x10') lit by a stop animation video. The second 'Triumphal Arch' piece shown is a segment of a stop animation video shot in an installation made at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, summer 2007. The third piece, 'Course of Empire', is a video document of a large paper labyrinth installation shown at Columbia University's MFA Thesis show in DUMBO, NYC, 2006. The work is drawing, silkscreen and woodblock on paper with steel pencil rods and binder clips. The paper walls are 8 to 12 feet tall; 220 linear feet of paper with over 2,300 square feet of drawing occupying 1,200 square feet of floor space.
