The nominations window for the 2019 Blavatnik Regional Awards opens December 5, 2018 and closes January 30, 2019. Nominations are accepted from research universities, independent research institutions, academic medical centers, and government laboratories in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The Blavatnik Regional Awards for Young Scientists recognize outstanding young post-doctoral researchers under the age of 42 from institutions across the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Every year, one Winner and two Finalists are selected in each of the three categories of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Chemistry, with Winners receiving $30,000 each and Finalists receiving $10,000 each, all in unrestricted funds.
