Kyle Pope, Editor-In-Chief/Publisher, Columbia Journalism Review, asks our panel what is the best way to navigate through the news if it isn't what you do for a living. Alexandra Svokos, News Editor, Bustle, said she often discusses this with her writers. She lets them know that it's their job to know more than their reader. She also notes that the most important tool she says in navigating through the new is continuously reading. The more you read the more you know.
