The Battle of Barnet was a hugely significant battle in the Wars of the Roses. It saw the death of Warwick the Kingmaker, and three English monarchs were present: Edward IV, Henry VI and the Duke of Gloucester – who was to become Richard III. The Battle of Barnet is the only officially registered battlefield in the Greater London area. With the help of volunteers from the Battle of Barnet Project this documentary takes you on a journey to find out how and why the battle took place, introducing the main characters, and seeing how some of the most important locations of the battle fit into the landscape of modern day Chipping Barnet.
A Sprognut Pictures documentary created for the Barnet Museum.
