My first short film. We wanted to write a character driven narrative and keep it in one interior location as to keep the 'obstacles of filming' to a minimum. They say write what you know. And this is a very true reflection, not only of me as a filmmaker but of many 'artists' and creative minds everywhere.
Still as poignant and relevant today (bar a few lines of script!) and ultimately, universal. Proving the fine line between madness and sanity, is very fine indeed.
Nominated for Best Screenplay at the British Short Film Festival and screened on SKY Movies.
Shot on S16mm. The cinematographer is Rob Hardy who has gone on to shoot some very impressive features.
