THE CENTRE is a place where people perform group exercises, chant, and connect with themselves and each other. This all takes place in a common office building, and it is this juxtaposition of corporate environment and spirituality that allows for perceiving new relationships at work in the environment, both physical and metaphysical. It is a purely constructed fictional piece that uses the documentary form to explore the environment of the place, allowing for the film itself to be a meditation, and essentially a sympathetic criticism of THE CENTRE. Whether the viewer finds it funny, surreal or relatable, the film proposes an alternative reality that gives way for contemplation. kate-lloyd.co.uk
