Gerald Allan Boda

Age 71, went to be with The Lord, Sunday, October 9, 2011. Gerald was born April 30, 1940 in Petoskey, Michigan the son of Floyd and Opal (Stanley) Boda. Jerry was a former Board Member in the Right To Life of Michigan, past President of the Greater Lansing Right To Life, past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Richard Council #788, past District Deputy of Michigan State Knights of Columbus, Elder of the Odawa Indian Tribe of Northern Michigan and past member at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Jerry retired from the Lansing Police Department as a helicopter pilot. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Boda and brother, John Boda. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sue; father, Floyd J. Boda; children, Brian (Kelly) Boda, Anna (Mark) Wenzlick and Lisa (Rob) Mercer; sister, Joan (Richard) Pricco; grandchildren, Liam, Elizabeth and Sean McCarthy-Boda, Rachael and Christopher Wenzlick. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and friends.
