Photo Tourism was the work of then-graduate student, Noah Snavely under the guidance of Steve Seitz of University of Washington and Rick Szeliski of Microsoft Research.
This is the presentation that Noah submitted to SIGGRAPH 2006 and similar to what he would have presented at Microsoft Research's TechFest 2006 earlier that year where future Photosynth architect Blaise Aguera y Arcas would first see the technology.
