This week during your meditation, try this approach: First invite relaxation and ease of the body. Then notice what in this moment's experience is comfortable and pleasant (perhaps sound or the palms of your hands). Invite your attention to rest and sink into that quality. When the mind begins to relax, also see if the breath or another sensation presents itself as an object to rest attention. Release everything else but that object, cultivating a unified and collected mind.
