Wolf Humanities Center's 2018-19 Forum on Stuff
October 10, 2018
World-renowned Interior Designer, Studioilse
Renowned furniture and interior designer Ilse Crawford describes her practice as “creating environments where humans feel comfortable; public spaces that make people feel at home; and homes that are habitable and make sense for the people who live in them.” In this talk, Crawford explains why interiors—and the stuff that fills them—matter, how our imagined order and values are embedded in the material world we make, and how meaningful this can be in the wake of the digital.
Presented in association with the 2018 DesignPhiladelphia Festival.
