Origami Mami, directed by Marites Carino, speaks of transformation and the multi-layered, complex nature of being. Inspired by the intricate Japanese art of Origami, the dance-for-camera short echoes its geometry and its folding complexity. Choreographed and performed by Emmanuelle Lê Phan (Tentacle Tribe) and joined by
dancers Victoria Mackenzie and Marie-Reine Kabasha, the trios movements evolve from sparse simplicity to extreme intricacy.
