First sonic experiment with remarkable new Hungry Robot Dark Moby delay pedal. For the first time ever I am now using two delays, albeit with quite different characteristics, on my board. (Greer Amps Black Tiger is the other) The Neunaber Wet is in use on this track as a primary reverb although there is a touch of the Caroline Meteore in this soundscape also. I feel very fortunate to be able to create during this era, which I consider to be the golden age of effects pedals. There are so many gifted visionaries out there crafting pedals with very distinct personalities and this piece is a little salute to a few of those creators.
Even though I’ve redesigned my board almost completely over the last couple of years, my love for the venerable DL4 looper and superb NS Design CR5 violin remains. Thanks to Ned Steinberger and the folks at Line 6 for creating enduring classics.
