For Stacey + Aden, they met on an online dating site which usually shows people in your local area. However, they matched being in different states. Aden was in Melbourne, Stacey was in Queensland. This twist of fate was the start of their relationship, and after many chats and conversations, Aden flew up to Queensland to take Stacey on a proper date. From there, the rest was history.
Loved every second of their uber chilled, relaxed and fun day and I am so thankful they had found me at last minute. Their day commenced with their respective preparations, with Aden + the boys getting ready at their home in Croydon - after a few bevvies, suiting up in their Bell & Barnett suits.
The girls were sipping on champagne and bubbles on our arrival at The Sage Hotel in Ringwood, as hair and makeup was in its final stages (Samantha Christo MUA + Hair by Natisha). After a few jumps on the hotel bed (as you do), it was soon time for Stacey to get into her Fairytales Bridal Boutique gown - absolutely stunning (florals by Lilac and Rose).
Ditching the traditional "limo" and opting for a more sensible transport across the road to their ceremony/reception at The Budgie Smuggler, Stacey soon arrived via taxi and made her grand entrance as family and friends watched on with glee. Our fav Kate Haley Civil Celebrant knocked it out of the park once again with a stellar ceremony mixed with humour and love.
As it was nightfall after the ceremony, we had a challenge to ensure Stacey + Aden got some amazing footage/pics as a newly married husband and wife. It was an absolute delight to work alongside Hailey from One Spoon Two Spoon - I've said it time and time again, it's so important to have a video/photo team that are in sync with one another and share a vision. Hailey is bright, bubbly and all forms of amazing and all seemed to work with a bit of collaboration.
The night continued on with a chilled out party vibe and a help-yourself popcorn bar... my ideal wedding!
Thanks so much, Stacey + Aden :)
