Wicked Little Town comes from the score of the Broadway musical Hedwig and The Angry Inch. It tells the story of dreams built on fantasy and aspirations of someplace that might promise a more fulfilling experience. However once that place is found it turns out that it’s not what was imagined. This interpretation is dedicated to all underrated artists and especially in New York City. So many wanna be artists come to NYC and other big entertainment environments with the wish of making it big in the industry. Hopefully sooner than later if they remain true to themselves they discover it’s really all smoke and mirrors.
