Last Summer Evenko asked me to be part of the organizing team for their last edition of Osheaga Music & Art Festival in Montreal. In collaboration with Pat Hamou and Evelyne Côté, we came up with the idea of creating a Art Village inside the festival, where we would invite different group of artists to showcase interactive projects.
The En Masse Art Initiative decided to create an chalk board installation, La Moustache created a series of short on-location animation loops during the weekend, Moniker silk printed artwork live on t-shirts and tote bags, La Paria painted on some recycling bins and Harvey McLoed build some full length wooden skeletons and a now famous Osheaga sign. 85 000 peoples has been estimated to pass by the village. Thanks to everyone involved and I hope to see you all next year for a crazier edition of the coolest festival in North America.
