A live-action animation about what happens when you take road kill home.
trivia: This film was shot over a weekend when I lived on a farm in rural southern Ontario (you tend to think about road kill).
technique trivia:
The film was shot frame by frame. The actors had to say their lines in slow motion (sometimes we had to read them to them off-camera because it was so slow they would forget them). I thought that when I recorded the dialogue the images and sound would magically sync. Not so! Duh! I actually had to use classic animation technique: record the dialogue, time it, calculate the frames, then re-shoot the entire film on the optical printer to make the dialogue sync. Thank you math!!!
