Our master thesis project in collaboration with Lucas Lopez: "Modeling, implementation and testing of an odor localization and odor classification model on an indoor robot".
The basic idea is that nature has robust ways to solve the problem of odor localization. The male moths are able to track the females by following the pheromone plume.
In our project, we tried to implement the behavior of the male moth and the way it classifies an odor on an autonomous robot.
