In this video, Principal, Seán Gallagher, describes his school's embedding of digital technologies across the curriculum. The school makes use of the Digital Learning Framework, Looking at our School and the EU SELFIE tool to plan for digital learning. Seán's approach involves dialogue with colleagues and pupils to agree digital learning priorities. The provision of a solid and reliable technology infrastructure, including reliable wifi, is a key element to facilitating effective use of digital technologies throughout the school. Pupils use a variety of devices, including Chromebooks and iPads as well as other resources, such as Lego Wedo. The school focuses on creating rather than consuming knowledge and this is borne out in the school's use of computational thinking approaches at all levels.
