After many request, I've put up my updated motion timelapse clips. This is only the beginning!
These are my first attempts at motion controlled timelapse. The difference with mine is that I have not spent thousands of dollars on the gear...yet. I am manually moving the camera on my slider between every picture. I'm looking to get my hands on an actual motion controlled rig soon. If you have one, LMK and we can go have lots of fun shooting TL!
The timelapse lengths ranged from 20 minutes to 2 hours and 3 to 10 seconds between each exposure. That is the downside to having to manually move the camera between each picture. You also have to be sure not to bump the rig in the slightest way.
- IGUS Slider with ruler markings for precise movement
- 2 Manfrotto tripods and GorillaPod
- Canon 7D with 17-55 f2.8 IS
