Prairie took little time to jump all over the visiting Kelso Hilanders. Falcons QB Colin Seitz threw a touchdown pass to Ansel Cecil on the first play of the game from 65 yards out. The next 5 scores were all touchdowns by WR Jesse Zalk, two via the pass from Seitz, two via punt returns and one via the run for good measure. Prairie led 28-0 after the first quarter. Seitz threw for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns. Zalk had 94 receiving yards on just 5 catches. Kelso was led by RB Slate Miller who rushed for 48 yards on 13 carries. Prairie won their 5th game of the season, the first 5 win season for Prairie since 1997. The win over Kelso broke a 14 game losing streak to the Hilanders. The last Falcons win over Kelso was also at District Stadium, a 21-7 Prairie win back in 1985.
