The research project ‘Creative strategies and public participation as convincing strategies in the (re)configuration of Living Labs; Exploring 21st century skills in complex multi stakeholder situations’ is a research project of the Living Lab Upper Citarum, Java, Indonesia.
The project is implemented by the Institute of Technology (ITB), Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management and Technology Research Group, Bandung, Indonesia, by Telkom University, the research group Environmental and Development Communication, Bandung, Indonesia and by Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, the research group Communication, Participation & Social Ecological Learning, Delta Areas and Resources (ARC DARe), The Netherlands.
The project has been funded by the Dutch taskforce for Applied Research, Nationaal Regieorgaan Praktijkgericht Onderzoek, and the involved universities and institutions.
This video shows activities undertaken in the course for facilitators in the Living Lab Upper Citarum, Java, Indonesia, November 2018 and gives a glimpse of the outcomes.
The fieldwork of the project in Kampong Ciwalengke and Sukahaji in Majalaya, and Kampong Cipaku, Banjaran has been organised in cooperation with EPA West Java Province, EPA Bandung District, and Environmental NGO Elingan and has been announced in advance to the participating community members who participated out of their own free will. Academic principles of informed consent have been adhered to during all activities. The film is meant for sharing the experiences and the outcomes, it cannot be used for commercial purposes and derivatives are not allowed.
