Join the Kent State Sustainability Collective on Facebook:
The newest group to join the sustainability movement on the KSU campus is the Kent State Sustainability Collective, currently headed by junior conservation biology major, Karch Marhofer. The collective gives students an opportunity to learn more about sustainability practices and help the university as well as the city of Kent become "greener."
The Sustainability Collective provides volunteers and a support base from the student's viewpoint. The group encourages projects like the current bike-share, recycling containers on campus, recycling/energy competitions, and community projects like the Mogadore Clean-Up. The Mogadore Clean-Up took place on Saturday, October 22nd and is the focus of this video.
The student voice is often the least used, yet the most effective. Please join the Kent State Sustainability Collective in helping to make the world a more sustainable place.
