Art is his weapon. And the walls are his medium. Famous street artist, Ron English, uses walls to tell his story. Often the subject of his work is to make people aware. Aware of Classism, racism, corporatism and Politics.
In reaction of Trump’s excessive push for a border barrier it’s time for him to build his own wall. He Invited street artists from around the world to help him paint it.
The Mexican American 'Welcome Wall' will be a 2000 ft long physical wall along the US/Mexico border, designed by artists and activists to be a conceptual message board for an ongoing discussion about the wall, border and immigration issues. The wall will serve as a physical manifestation of the debate on immigration and border security. It will serve as a bulletin board available to the media and tourists.
To build the wall, the permits and land we need help. Your help. Please donate today and make a stand with us against the Demagogue Trump. We will start building this spring and the wall will stay up till 2020 Election night. On Election night we will auction the different sections. Accompanied by live music and a big party.
Part of our proceeds will go to charities and non-profits in the border town where we build it.
