History is just one way everything unfolds. How would the story change if a different son succeeded his father as sovereign, and a dead nation of old instead rose to unimaginable heights? What if Ancient Rome never fell?
“Vestige” is a story-driven first-person puzzle game that takes you into the heart of the Eternal
City after centuries of prosperity, territorial expansion, and technological advancement. In the 12th Century of this timeline, an unspeakable event in the Capital threatens the very foundation of the New Roman Empire.
Enter the role of Cardea, a spirited young woman who finds herself trapped deep underground in the aftermath. To escape the turmoil together with her mentor, Dominus, she must navigate the tunnels of the abandoned subways, long transformed into a living coliseum of deathtraps.
Her only measure of survival is an unstable decoy device capable of tricking the environment and its twisted operator. Will she survive – and at what cost?
